Women’s Basketball (13-3, 2-0)
Nebraska 71, Kansas 51, Saturday, Jan. 12, Devaney Center
On Saturday, Nebraska rolled
to a 71-51 victory over Kansas and extended its home winning stream
to 11 games. Griffin led the Huskers with 15 points and six rebounds.
Senior Danielle Page contributed eight points, seven rebounds,
seven blocked shots, four assists and three steals, while junior
Tay Hester racked up seven points with 5-for-5 free throw shooting.
As a team, the Huskers hit 30-of-32 free throws against KU.
